Yes we are! The cabins share about 400 feet of river access where you can swim, fish, and kayak.
Early check ins must be requested in advance. If at all possible, an earlier check in time will be given. However, if the cabin is booked the night before your arrival, it will be impossible since housekeeping will need the entire 4 hours from check in to check out to clean and prep your cabin for your arrival. Thank you for understanding!
Self check in! You will not check into an office. In your confirmation email, there will be a code to the keypad along with directions to finding the cabin. Please screenshot or print both of these.
Pets are allowed with a $25 non refundable pet fee per pet. There is a 2 dog limit. Cats are not allowed. They must be kept off furniture! Please check the number of dogs you’ll be bringing while making your reservation. If housekeeping finds that there has been a pet in the cabin and you did not include it in your reservation, a $150 charge will be added to the credit card on file.
If you make your cancellation at least 14 days prior to your arrival date, 100% of your paid charges will be refunded minus a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel 7 days prior to your arrival, 50% of your paid charges will be refunded minus a $75 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued if you cancel in less than 7 days of your check in since we will not have time to rent the cabins to other guests.
We are about a 25 minute drive from Hochatown, Beaver’s Bend State Park, and Broken Bow Lake.
We have no way to predict the water levels. The Corps of Engineers control reregulation from the dam, which determines river levels. They post a weekly schedule from Saturday to Saturday and sometimes they actually adhere to the schedule. We usually know at 4:00 p.m. the day before how much will be released from the dam. Several factors determine the release schedule, with rain being the most determining factor.
Quiet hours are between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless you have booked both cabins. We beg you to please be considerate of the guests in the other cabin and adhere to quiet hours. If you choose not to and a complaint is made by neighboring guests, we will call or visit and ask that you shut down your party. If that doesn’t work, we will be forced to ask you to leave immediately and you will forfeit all fees and charges.
The cabins are fully stocked! Just bring you, your clothes, your food, and your relaxing state of mind. Here is a list of must-haves and extras that you don’t want to forget: sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellant, bottled water, river towels, lawn chairs and floaties (if you want to hang out at the water), and your fishing pole.
Pruett’s in Broken Bow is the only grocery store in town other than Wal Mart. Please note that our Wal Mart is not a supercenter. The Idabel Wal Mart on your way in is the closest supercenter. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the cabins to Pruett’s.
Yes! The kitchens are fully stocked with cooking utensils, plates, silverware, glasses, mugs, pots, pans, everything! However, grab paper plates and plastic cups, forks, and spoons if you don’t want to do dishes (but we do have dishwashers and detergent).
Firefly has a charcoal grill. Riverhawk has both a charcoal grill and gas grill. We provide the gas. Bring your own charcoal.
Yes we do! The username and password will be posted inside the cabin in the Welcome Guide.
Maybe…different carriers get better reception than others. Guests usually have great service with AT&T and pretty good service with Verizon. Some guests with other carriers have no service and must rely on wifi. We can’t guarantee good cell service, but can’t say yours won’t work.
We would love for you to choose our cabins for your special day! While we can give you a list of trusted local services, the decorating, planning, catering, and all other wedding things will be for you to plan and organize. We HIGHLY recommend renting both cabins during your wedding date!
Please email, text, or call for any further questions that we have not answered above! Thank you!
